In 2014 Barry-John had decided to take a step back from racing but was then convinced to race in the Future Classics series in Mondello. He raced 2 Fiat Punto 1400’s threw out the season run by his ever supporting team Kellett Motorsport. He became the first ever winner of the Future Classics Sean Kelly Memorial Trophy which was quite an honer and he really enjoyed his season with a string of podiums all season long.

Dunshaughlin Motor Company also sponsored Jamie Masterson in the Irish Superbike Championship aboard his Kawasaki ZX9-R with their DMC.IE logo on his bike.
